The sunshine stayed behind after leaving the west coast of Iceland, north of Reykjavik. The "atmosphere" (read: fog, rain, clouds and wind) moved in to make more challenging photo conditions. We rounded the Snaefellnes Peninsula, stopping here and there to see what the sea hath wrought ... with waterfalls, rivers, harbors, nesting seabirds, food from the sea, sea critters and "sea-nics".
For the photographers out there, please note that these photos are all taken with my Android phone. Those taken with my "good" camera (Fujifilm X-t1) are still on my computer, will be processed and shared at some point.

We were shooting until sunset at midnight and would have stayed until sunrise, at 2AM, were the light better. Fortunately, the sunset is slow - allowing plenty of time for our composition and looking for great scenery. We do have nap-time in the late afternoon and while on the bus.
Now we're off to the Geysir region.

Beautiful scenery. If you hadn't mentioned the phone pics, I'd have never guessed they were!
